In 1970, when conceptual artist John Baldessari was teaching studio art at the experimental Cal Arts campus near Valencia, CA, the assignments he handed out to his class were art in themselves.

You will be responsible for completing homework each week that will vary depending on the discussion topics and exercises happening in the classroom during that time.We will conduct critiques throughout the semester where students are expected to participate in discussion.
